Ive been using this app since the first day it came out and Ive shazamed probably a couple thousand songs and its only let me down a handful of times! I love it! I just wish it would have the lyrics for EVERY song I Shazam but I can live with googling them still haha enjoy!

It used to work great. After the latest update it doesnt read the songs anymore. Stop trying to make the app do so many things because now the primary reason for the app, to tell you what song youre listening too, doesnt work!

Earlier versions were way more effective. In fact I can use my old iPhone, now just an iPod to listen and decipher music from the television and have better results. I get billed .99 cents every month when I originally paid for the top version with no extra charges. On my first iPhone 3. I still use it but cant get them to stop billing me for this newer but much worse version. Ill be leaving this all behind soon. I dont have to long to hang around this mortal coil much longer. And I have the original iPod with 80 GB. And as Ive been told I dont have enough time in my life to listen to all of the music I have accrued. So I hope this helps others with speaking up. It appears to download everything but, then hangs during install finally giving me a message that the download couldnt be completed at this time. Ive tried mid-morning, afternoons, evenings and late nights. No joy.

Yes FINALLY that obtrusive newsfeed has been removed from the home tab, and Shazamming is once again a fast and elegant experience.

This app was useful and had buy with iTunes now Its bloated useless.

Still NO auto-sharing to social media. The auto recognition feature is all wrong. Take note from SoundHound on this one.

This is one of the first apps that I installed and REMAINS one of my absolute FAVORITE and MUST HAVE!!!! Fantastic job!!!!!!! Update: as I went to go leave feedback the exact words came to mind as I had originally left and I had forgotten that I had left a review months ago!!!! So, I guess I need to say it again ... A MUST HAVE for music lovers and it works perfect with Apple Music! LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Good job!!!!!

App is great but suddenly it stopped connecting. No explanation and no recourse. Online help is vague. No facility for reporting errors.

Claiming Im not connected? What? Wont tag or tags something completely different that wasnt playing. Display is too cluttered and busy for a paid app. Lyrics are becoming more inaccurate with each update, you need a better source, they are so wrong sometimes its laughable. Please fix, it used to be my favorite app.

Left review on Shazam. Bought Encore app. Does (or should I say doesnt) same thing: offline!!! Shazam u gotta make this right! What r u gonna do 4 all of us who bought useless app? Sure only $6.99 but multiply that by thousands of us who r screwed now! Youre making $$ & all of us r going thru Shazam withdrawal. Dont make us go elsewhere. App was GREAT until last update. Also emd cust support - no answer. Guess youre inundated w/this issue! Time to step up to the plate...

So useful- very quick, love the lyric integration as well as porting songs over to Spotify.

Why only iTunes and Spotify? I use google play music and YouTube red and it is very inconvenient to use Shazam with these apps.

I’m not happy! A few years ago I paid for this App to avoid adds. And all of a sudden all the junk started popping up as well as UPGRADE! BUT I ALREADY DID!!! Well this one is OTT, Over the top. Whatever happened to simplicity?!
